Blake Shelton Responds To Backlash Over Pre-Taping AMA Performance

Truth in advertising (or the lack of it) has Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani in a little hot water with internet rabble-rousers. Seems the couple were billed as performing live for Monday night's AMAs, but instead, their performances were pre-recorded. Gwen's "Swallow My Tears" and Blake's "Stay Country Or Die Tryin'" were both featured during the event, but neither of them were anywhere near the place. Blake eventually weighed in on social media, and he wasn't having it. "Just now seeing these stories about Gwen and I pretaping our performances for the AMA’s. We came and performed when the show asked us to.. Really nothing else to say." So, according to Blake, it's the AMAs fault for the misleading billing.
