Americans love french fries, but some are definitely better than others. A new study claims to have figured out which fast food chain has the best fries in the country, and it’s bound to spark some debate.
- The ranking comes from Seating Masters, and it’s based on more than 40-thousand Yelp reviews.
- So, who makes America’s favorite fries? According to the research, In-N-Out Burger.
- The California-based chain scores high with a 3.86 out of five for their fresh-cut fries, which are made in-store every day.
- Shake Shack comes in second, with their crinkle-cut fries earning a 3.7.
- Number three on the list is Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, a chain based in Kansas, with a 3.59.
- Missing from the top 10? McDonald’s, Burger King and Wendy’s. While many consider Mickey D’s to have the best fries, they only got a 1.91 in the study, the second worst score overall.
- At the very bottom of the list is KFC, earning a rating of just 1.77, making them the worst chain for fries.
