- The most commonly used passwords are often some form of consecutive numbers, like “123456,” which is number one on the list.
- It was used 30-million times, nearly twice the number of times the second most common password, “123456789” was used (1.6-million times.)
- All the passwords on the list are so easy to crack, it would take a hacker less than one minute.
- Experts say adding letters and other characters to a password makes it a lot stronger and much tougher to crack.
