Fall is here and it is time to start lining up those pumpkins alongside your scarecrows to get your place looking festive for the season. Although, a simple pumpkin from the patch won't do. No, the new trend this year is all about painting and adding craft supplies to your pumpkin to create characters. You heard me right....animal figures in particular are hot this season. For instance, bears, deer, dogs, elephants and anything you can imagine will hit the mark for creativity this year in fall decor.
It is an alternative to carving. For a more sophisticated look, the current trend is hollowing out that pumpkin to top it with succulents. Another idea is to wrap the pumpkin in a paper napkin with an elegant design and top it with modge podge.
