Another day, another country fan gets scammed by a "country star." Everyone wants to believe that they're chatting with their favorite country star, but let's get real...they're probably not. A Nebraska man found this out the hard way recently, when talking online with "Luke Bryan." The individual got a text from someone claiming to be Bryan, who asked for the man to send over his savings account information...so that the "country star" could deposit $300 in his account. If your radar is going off, you're like most of us...but not this man. When he handed over the information and looked to see the gift sitting in his bank account, he learned (say it with us)...his account had been wiped out. The fortunate thing: he only lost $600.00. An expensive lesson for him, and a reminder for everyone else that scammers are everywhere, but country stars...not so much.
