A good sign for the holidays or anytime of the year

It's National Tie One on for Safety Week. So if you see a vehicle with a red ribbon tied onto it somewhere, the red ribbon signifies that the driver realizes the importance of being sober and in control while driving over the road. That person has pledged to not drink and drive! Holiday drinking isn't just being social when a person decides to drive after they've had too much. Drinking and driving are a deadly  combination. DUI’s and deaths during the holidays become a nationwide epidemic from Thanksgiving to New Year every year and 30-40% of all traffic deaths that occur are alcohol related. If you've had too much to drink, call a Taxi - Uber or Lyft instead. If you support MADD's efforts, Tie One on for Safety Week. Tying a red ribbon on vehicles  was started by Mother Against Drunk Drivers to spotlight the growing number of alcohol related crashes, fatalities and arrests that happen each year.
