Are you in the dead zone?

How has your energy level been today?  If you are feeling sort of lethargic, you are not alone. A recent survey done by TalkerResearch.com revealed that we Americans will forget what day it is at least five times this week but we shouldn’t panic. It’s not early onset dementia, it’s because we are living through what is known as Dead Zone Week, the seven days from Christmas until New Year. According to data, some of us feel as though we are floating in a day dream-like state because our regular routines have been interrupted or are relaxed (a good share of us are totally off from work).  48% say the dress code at the office for those left working is casual all week. 10% of us admit we will only shower if necessary to receive visitors.  23% say we plan to relax and will do the bare minimum. Gen X or Gen Z people polled claimed this is an anxiety filled week because they feel as though they should be doing more. 34% of us will take a nap (another example where wisdom comes with age).
