The Academy of Country Music Awards were held over the weekend in Las Vegas. There were some incredible performances and then some that left people with questions, like how Megan Maroney, Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton and Zach Top could collect twenty seven nominations between them but somehow still get shut out (none received an award). Even Shania Twain’s performance as emcee of the show has gotten people stirred up and talking or just flat out deflecting. People on X confirmed they loved her as a “singer” (even though she didn’t perform during the show) fans on Facebook admired her “fashion sense” and fans of People Magazine couldn’t get enough of Shania’s “sexy bangs.” Then there were the people interviewed at the WAFFLE HOUSE at bar time. When asked about Shania Twain's hosting abilities, one customer replied, That’s Shania Twain hosting at the door tonight? Do you suppose I should leave a better tip then?
