John Cena has had an amazing career in and out of the ring and through it all, John Cena’s message to his fans has consistently been, “never give up.” We also know story lines in professional wrestling have their twists and turns and surprise endings. For John Cena fans when the end came over the weekend it was shocking! John Cena wrestled his final WWE match against Gunther over the weekend and once Gunther got him into a choke hold, before the lights went out, John Cena tapped out and it was over. Fans couldn’t believe it and the WWE is getting a lot of flak about it. But if you’re upset, Jordan Mendoza who follows the WWE for USA TODAY sized it up artfully by sharing how he doesn’t think Cena gave up… he feels Cena had given it his ALL for 23 years in the ring. And in the end John Cena didn’t have anything left to give. Mendoza feels it was an honest ending to an excellent run. What do you think? Some say Jordan Mendoza shouldn’t be wasting his talents writing for USA TODAY- he should be sketching out plots for the WWE.
