Who you gonna’ call when 30 thousand bees swarm an excavator on a jobsite in Memphis? If you’re lucky David Glover will answer the call. Glover is a professional beekeeper whose nickname is the Bartlett "bee whisperer." With years of experience, he knew 30,000 bees would swarm to him if he could just locate their queen. Obviously it must not be too hard if you know where to look. His objective was to help the 30 thousand creatures to find a new hive to call home. During the process Glover claimed he could feel the weight of thousands of bees on his shoulders, arms and neck and yet somehow he only got stung once. Once collected, the bees were housed in a temporary hive until they could be transferred to a local apiary. Glover helps to repopulate struggling hives which is good for local agriculture. Pretty amazing stuff I’ll better he falls asleep to buzzing and humming in his ears at night.
