Nashville landmark to reopen soon

ERNEST TUBB'S RECORD SHOP on Nashville’s Lower Broadway is expected to reopen sometime this fall. The shop has been closed since 2022 so a group of investors could go to work renovating one of Nashville's most notable landmarks. The goal from the start  has been to get all five levels up and running including stages and dual bars on the main floor and the record shop on the fourth floor. There will be an area for special events and a rooftop venue as well as what is being described as a more intimate dining area in the basement. Dale Tubb, Ernest Tubbs grandson says he and the others are excited to be able to save such an important part of Nashville’s history and country music heritage and to help bring a new generation into the know. A spokesperson says the renovations are coming along nicely and that the newly renovated Ernest Tubb's Record Shop will be reopening soon in the fall of 2025.
