Here’s an interesting travel related story for you as some of you pack to fly somewhere over the Memorial Day Weekend. Rotisserie Chickens fly for FREE as long as they fit your carry-on. Some airlines have discontinued the complimentary snacks we used to enjoy on flights of less than 350 miles. So someone figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask what snacks the TSA would allow us to bring onboard. After all, people do get hungry and this is America. Another person suggested rotisserie chicken and surprisingly the TSA said you can carry as many rotisserie chickens as you like as long as anything liquid (juice or gravy) doesn’t exceed 3.4 oz. or less. Protein drinks or any liquids are limited to 3.4 oz. TSA suggested a carry-on cooler and freezing the chickens. In case you were wondering, Cornish Game Hens and Turkeys are also allowed to fly in a carry-on without a ticket but that's limited to domestic flights only. The world is filled with crazy stories but America reserves the right not to be out done.
