Shooter Jennings Releases Another Lost Waylon Jennings Track
From Upcoming "Songbird" Album
Shooter Jennings has released another track from the upcoming release of his father's "Songbird" album. The album spawns from a discovered treasure trove of unreleased recordings Waylon Jennings had stashed away, and is one of at least three remastered albums that are on the way from the country legend. Prior to the release of "The Cowboy (Small Texas Town)," billboards quoting the song's lyrics appeared around Waylon's hometown of Littlefield, Texas, with no explanation. With the release of the song, we now know the rest of the story. "Songbird" comes out October 3. Hear "The Cowboy (Small Texas Town)" to the right.
