The 4‑H Shooting Sports National Championships are going on in Grand Island, Nebraska and four of our Lincoln County 4-H shooting team is there.
The 4‑H Shooting Sports National Championships is held each June in Grand Island, Nebraska, at the Heartland Public Shooting Park. 4‑H youth from across the country are competing in compound archery, recurve archery, air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, muzzleloading, and hunting skills. Four of our Lincoln County 4-H shooting team is there. In the recurve competition yesterday, Hayden Waid won 4th individual, Makai Traylor won 2nd individual and the Tennessee recurve team won 5th overall for team awards. Congratulations to these fine shooters for their hard work and dedication.
