4H Shooting Sports National Competition

The 4‑H Shooting Sports National Championships are going on in Grand Island, Nebraska and four of our Lincoln County 4-H shooting team is there.

The 4‑H Shooting Sports National Championships is held each June in Grand Island, Nebraska, at the Heartland Public Shooting Park. 4‑H youth from across the country are competing in compound archery, recurve archery, air rifle, air pistol, .22 rifle, .22 pistol, shotgun, muzzleloading, and hunting skills. Four of our Lincoln County 4-H shooting team is there. In the recurve competition yesterday, Hayden Waid won 4^th individual, Makai Traylor won 2^nd individual and the Tennessee recurve team won 5^th overall for team awards. Congratulations to these fine shooters for their hard work and dedication.
