Afternoon Accident Results in One Minor Injury and Traffic Delays

An afternoon accident in south Lincoln County resulted in one minor injury and snarled traffic for a short time.

A two vehicle accident at Highland Rim Road and Huntsville Highway sent one person to Lincoln Regional Hospital with minor injuries. Tennessee State Troopers worked quickly to clear the wrecked vehicles from the road. Traffic both north and south bound on Huntsville Highway was snarled while crews cleared the wreckage. Volunteers from Park City along with Lincoln EMS Paramedics responded to the call.
