Several Coffee County volunteers are recovering from injuries following an accident Thursday. The firefighters were in a county fire truck when the crash occurred on Ragsdale Road northeast of Manchester. The firetruck hit a power pole and came to rest against that pole, knocking out power to about 230 Duck River Electric customers. Although injuries were reported, none were thought to be life threatening. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
