Crews Respond To Haz-Mat Incident

Emergency crew were called to the 800 block of Fairway Drive about 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon to a hazardous materials incident.

Emergency crew were called to the 800 block of Fairway Drive about 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon to a hazardous materials incident. Construction crews working in the area reportedly hit a gas main. Fayetteville Public Utility gas crews responded and turned the gas off and made repairs. No injuries were reported and no evacuations were necessary.
