A man critically burned in a field fire Sunday has died.
A 90-year-old man burned in a field fire late yesterday has succumb to his injuries. Lincoln County Volunteer Firefighters and Lincoln EMS paramedics were called to a home on Gray’s Lane shortly before 6 o’clock yesterday afternoon. The man was flown via helicopter to Vanderbilt’s Burn Unit where he passed away overnight. Firefighters extinguished the field fire within a few minutes of arriving at the scene.
