Former Fayetteville City high School Employee Pleads Gulity To Statutory Rape

District Attorney Robert Carter’s office confirmed that 55-year-old Chris Cagle pled guilty to three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

A former Fayetteville City Schools coach charged with statutory rape pled guilty to three of those charges this morning. District Attorney Robert Carter’s office confirmed that 55-year-old Chris Cagle pled guilty to three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure. Cagle was arrested March 5th last year following an investigation by Fayetteville Police after they received a report of a Fayetteville High School employee engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student. Cagle will face sentencing May 5th before Judge Forest Durard.
