Former Fayetteville City high School Employee Pleads Gulity To Statutory Rape

District Attorney Robert Carter’s office confirmed that 55-year-old Chris Cagle pled guilty to three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure.

A former Fayetteville City Schools coach charged with statutory rape pled guilty to three of those charges this morning. District Attorney Robert Carter’s office confirmed that 55-year-old Chris Cagle pled guilty to three counts of statutory rape by an authority figure. Cagle was arrested March 5^th last year following an investigation by Fayetteville Police after they received a report of a Fayetteville High School employee engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student. Cagle will face sentencing May 5^th before Judge Forest Durard.
