Officials at Lincoln County Emergency management said this morning that locally heavy rain and a few strong to severe thunderstorms are still expected to impact the Tennessee Valley from tomorrow morning through Saturday morning. Although the risk of tornado's and severe thunderstorms appears very low at this time, locally heavy rain is still expected to lead to a heightened risk for flash flooding tomorrow night into early Saturday.
