A Lewisburg man accused of soliciting a child through an online gaming platform was taken into custody earlier this week. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the investigation began in May 2025, after the Renville County Sheriff’s Office in Minnesota alerted special agents about a man soliciting an underage girl through the “Age of Apes” gaming platform. During the investigation, authorities reportedly identified the suspect as 30-year-old Jamal Ewing. Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, alongside TBI special agents, arrested Ewing on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Officials said he was charged with one count of solicitation of a minor and booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $6,000 bond.
