A Lincoln County Grand Jury indicted Ben Brown yesterday on multiple charges involving four cases.

A Lincoln County Grand Jury indicted Ben Brown yesterday on multiple charges involving four cases. The District Attorney’s Office said the first case had two indictments. One was for theft over 250-thousand dollars, which is a class A felony. The second count was for financial exploitation of an elderly adult. The second, third and fourth cases were all for theft of over 60-thousand dollars each and financial exploitation of an elderly adult in each case. There is no court date set yet because Brown is being held in another county on other charges, an Lincoln County will have a hold on him. Three of the cases in Lincoln County were the result of work by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office and one of the cases was investigated by Fayetteville Police. District Attorney Robert Carter commended the work done by both departments in their investigations that led to these indictments.
