Lincoln County Citizens Academy Weeks Four

20 local residents continued with week four of their training last night

The Fall 2025 Lincoln County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy held its fourth session last night. Citizen cadets learned about he SWAT Team and also the Honor Guard and what it takes to be selected for either of these prestigious positions. 20 local residents are seeing first hand what it takes to operate the Sheriff’s Department in Lincoln County. Cadets have four more weeks of training that takes place on Thursday evenings. Cadets also have the option to ride along with deputies in the field.
