In a media release yesterday, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said that a joint investigation by special agents with the TBI and the Tennessee Comptrollers office has resulted in the indictment and arrest of a dete4ctive with the Murfressboro Police Department. 47-year-old Reginal Primas is accused of using Murfressboro Police Department funds for personal purchases, falsifying a government document and accessing the Criminal Justice Portal for purposes unrelated to hos official duties. Tuesday a Rutherford County Grand Jury indicted Primas on one count of theft, one count of forgery, two counts of falsifying a government document and 13 counts of official misconduct. He was booked into the Rutherford County jail yesterday on a 25-thousand dollar bond.
