Public Hearings Scheduled for Proposed Changes to Lincoln County Growth Plan

Several public hearings are scheduled regarding proposed changes to the Lincoln county Growth Plan

Lincoln County Mayor Bill Newman is proposing some changes to the Lincoln County Growth Plan. That means municipalities within Lincoln County including Fayetteville, Petersburg and Ardmore along with the appointed Coordinating Committee, must hold public hearings before making any decisions and changes. The first of those joint public hearings for all municipalities will be tomorrow evening at 6 o’clock in the Circuit Courtroom at the Courthouse. The second Joint public hearing for all municipalities will be next week, August 14^th at 6 o’clock at the Courthouse. The August 14^th meeting will be followed by a Coordinating Committee public hearing at 7 and Coordinating Committee meeting at 7:30. The Second Coordinating Committee public hearing will be held August 21^st at 6 with a committee meeting to follow at 6:30.
