Over the weekend a resident living on Hudson Drive told deputies someone called them claiming to be with Direct TV and needed to install a new program for their current devices. The caller requested payment by check, written to a jewelry store and mailed. That’s when the victim realized they had been scammed. The investigation is on-going.
