Two Hurt in Three Vehicle Crash in Petersburg

Two people, including a child, were slightly injured in an early morning accident on the Lewisburg Highway.

Two people, including a child, suffered minor injuries in a three-car accident this morning on the Lewisburg Highway. Lincoln County Fire/Rescue, Lincoln EMS paramedics and Tennessee State Troopers all responded to the Lewisburg Highway in Petersburg about 7:20 this morning. The initial call to the 911 center indicated one of the vehicles had flipped but responders to the scene later verified that none of the three vehicles overturned. A child and an adult suffered minor injuries and were treated and released at the scene.
