Several Halloween events are planned for Friday, October 32st.

Several Halloween celebrations, Open House or Trunk or Treat events are scheduled for Friday.. Flintville volunteers will have their Halloween Open House from 5 till 7 Friday night. The Lincoln County fairgrounds will be the site for another trunk or treat event Friday. The free event will be held from 6 till 9 pm. For more information call Crystal Parker 931-625-2745. The Fayetteville-Lincoln County Public Library will be celebrating all day Friday with their Poke a Pumpkin game for children who check out a book and Trick or Treat at the Library.

Weather Service Confirms Tornado Touchdown in New market, Alabama

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has confirmed that an EF-1 and an EF-0 tornado touched down in the New Market area just off Winchester Road Monday afternoon.
