A water main break cause a water outage in northwest Fayetteville Monday morning.
Fayetteville Public Utility work crews have the water back on for residents in northwest Fayetteville along Third Avenue, First Avenue and Swanson Boulevard. A major leak was reported this morning, and crews have been braving near freezing temperatures to make repairs. In talking with Don Counts with FPU at 11:15 this morning crews were completing work on the road. He said residents may temporarily experience air in the lines but that should resolve itself soon.
