Limestone county authorities have arrested a 42-year-old New Hope man on charges of making a terrorist threat. Monday A caller to the Limestone County Circuit Clerk’s Office said there was a bomb in the courthouse. Officers immediately evacuated the courthouse and called in bomb technicians with the Huntsville Police department and the ATF. After a thorough search of the courthouse, no explosive devices were found. During the investigation, authorities determined the threatening call originated from a local phone number. Welch was located and arrested Tuesday and booked into the Limestone county jail charged with making a terrorist threat first degree and intimidating a juror. Bond will be set later by a judge.
